When you need it
Whenever a vessel calls at the Port of Bari and needs to be supplied: food provisions for crew and passengers, technical materials (lubricants, paints, boiler chemicals), mechanical spares, safety equipment, consumables (ropes, fittings, electrical spares). The regime applies to commercial vessels, international-route ferries, yachts in extra-territorial navigation and work units engaged in offshore yards.
How we operate at the Port of Bari
We receive from the supplier or shipowner the list of goods to be loaded with related invoices and quantities, and prepare the customs declaration for loading as ship stores (A22 form or equivalent declaration in AIDA). We verify that the goods fall within the regime's permitted categories and handle any transit of goods from the supplier's bonded warehouse to the ship's deck.
For bunkering we coordinate the delivery time with the fuel supplier, submit the loading declaration for excise-duty products (marine gasoil) and manage the certifications needed by shipping companies. For high-value spare parts and technical materials, we assist physical loading at the terminal gate and supervise the on-board loading.

Timing & operation
Supply loading is authorized same-day, generally within a few hours of submitting the procedure. For complex operations — large-volume bunkering, excise-duty product loading — we coordinate timing directly with the vessel's master and the Bari Customs Territorial Operating Section. We operate in extended hours and with availability for night-time or holiday loading when required by vessel rotation.
